I have this dream regularly. I'm in the audience watching a movie. I'm also in the movie. I manage to keep this dual view point through the entire dream - don't ask me how. I've seen the movie before, at least I know more or less what's going to happen next. I can act in the dream and it will change what happens next. But, when I do that, after the action has altered the dream, I again know what will happen next.
Hooray for my psyche for "figuring this out". I can't think of a better way to experience multi-dimensional reality in three dimensions. For years I banged my head against how to sense probabilities. Then, after these dreams started I realized all I needed to do ways try and remember the future. It's been fun and instructive.
